WE ARE A BARBECUE COMPANY THAT COMBINES TRADITIONAL PROCESSES AND TECHNIQUES OF CLASSICAL SMOKED MEATS WITH THE SIMPLICITY OF COMFORT FOOD AND SOUTHERN FARE.

Founded by Eric Shands and Shannon Martin from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania;  MarShands was born when the friends decide to play their hand in a KCBS Barbecue Competition. This was the beginning of a long road of research and development of unique rubs, sauces, and cooking styles.

 

Eric and Shannon spent years on recipes and realized we could not eat all the food we were cooking. We invited our friends to "come to our rescue". The greatest thing about barbecue is gathering your friends around the table for good fun and smoked meats. Over time, more and more friends were asking for our rubs and recipes. So 8 years later we are still 'just two friends looking for the smoke'.
